Hey Everyone,

So I made my first milestone done on Twitch, I now have more than 50 followers. Which is amazing! But now I have made another milestone. Getting to 75 followers! When this goal is completed, I'm gonna do a stream where I play rage games and eat hot peppers. It'll be a fun time.

Aside from that, I am curious if anyone has any recommendations for streams that I should do? I've been debating if I should continue doing pixel art or sprite corruption streams, or something along that line. For awhile now, I've only been doing gaming streams but have been debating on getting back to art streams. It's been awhile, and it was a significantly different feeling then playing games on streams. What do you guys think?

Lastly, streams are going to be a bit inconsistent as of late, because I am currently in a bad life situation (nothing dangerous, just financially unstable... again.) So I'll update on here when streams will have a consistent schedule again and hopefully, in that time, make a shiny new overlay, and since I have a better computer now, maybe also some animated stuff?

Hope ya'll have a good day and drink water. peace!

Hey everyone, since October, I have been Twitch Streaming. It's been almost a full year and I am almost to 50 followers. So to cap off the year of streaming, I holding a Twitter poll right now that will determine what the very first emote for my stream will be. CLICK HERE FOR THE POLL

As of the moment, I am not streaming for the week because I am not home. But I decided this will be what I do during the week, make up some emotes and pixel art and try to enjoy my time out. However, I feel dumb because I haven't done a pixel art corruption stream in a while. So I've been thinking that October 1st, I'm gonna start doing them again. But with a bit more structure and figuring what the hell I'm gonna do. Either way, If you haven't been on my twitch or watched it. Here's the link to it. Please check it out and if you like it, follow me as I try to get 50 followers before the end of September. If that happens, I'm gonna be making a bunch of Twitch emotes on stream and chitchat and maybe some other things.

Thank you for your time!

Hey Everyone, what's been up with all of you? I've been semi-busy with work and other stuff. But here's the point of this post. If you don't follow my Twitter or Twitch, I put a break on my streaming to try and better my content and make sure my streams are more enjoyable before I hit Affiliate. Part of this, I believe, means that I should be saving money up for a new computer. However, money is expensive and hard to save, especially since I have to go get a surgery in a few weeks (I'm fine, my wallet isn't. Just getting all of my wisdom teeth cut into small pieces and yanked out of my face.) Either way, I'm opening a few commission slots to try and make some extra money to save so I can get a bit ahead of funding, and hope that I can get a new and more powerful computer for streaming, instead of a smol HP laptop. As of right now, I have 2 out of 3 slots open, and I will update as they close. Please msg me for info and estimates. Thank you!

Welp, it's March, I'm a year older, and I've just been streaming games lately, finished a playthrough of Pikuniku, and am now just playing Binding of Isaac, because I love that game and I love streaming it.

However, life is crazy right now and it feels like so much time is passing by and I am not doing anything with my life. That's the unfortunate part of working a 40 hour a week job. (I do not envy anyone who is expected to work more, oh my god!)

I wish I had more time to just sit down and do some art, study, and just figure out what will make me happy.

But that requires money, and I can't just take days off of work in order to focus on these things that I hope to make a career of someday. I'm in too much debt. (who isn't?)

So here's a few updates of what I'm doing.

  1. This week, I'm taking a break from art, and just relaxing and working my normal job. If I am constantly trying to force myself to be better, and beating myself up when my art isn't the greatest thing in the world, then be constantly pressured of all the things I want to be doing (make a game, make a mod, learn several programs, etc.) but never actually get to because time constraints, I think imma die. (Take a break if, you too, are having sadness)
  2. During this break, I'm gathering ideas and letting them mish-mash in my brain for better ideas later. This has brought me to a very internal debate on whether or not I should just mash all my art accounts into one, and just let everyone see all the art on all my accounts. Instead of having several art accounts that just don't update. For reference, I am an undergrad with a degree in fine arts, and I have very high expectations of my art because of it. This sucks mentally, when I make pixel art and other kinds of character art (things that have been drilled into my head as kitsch and lowly.) And to be honest, I feel dragged down by it. So I've been thinking on if, on Newgrounds and Instagram, I post everything (stream fun stuff, fan art, "fine art" and etc.) , and then on websites like artstation, I just try to be professional ("Fine art", impressive work, fully fleshed out stuff, etc.) (idk maybe to get a job or something?) What do other artists on Newgrounds think of that?
  3. I've been messing around on programs like blockbench, magicavoxel, and blender, as well as doings bits and pieces into trying to use CSP for animating. So that's been fun. Should I be posting my doodles and such on Newgrounds, would people be interested?
  4. Built a little audio booth type thing around my desk for better audio when streaming and maybe voice acting, because I've been playing around with that because bored and it looks fun.
  5. I made a Ko-fi, I'm not sure what art altogether I'll post on there, but I hope people enjoy it, maybe I'll sell a wallpaper or two? But yeah, I made it in case people wanted to support me because money is tight and I barely have time to spend 8 hours on an artwork or spend the time to learn, so maybe some financial support would help me not feel so guilty for trying to get better at art.

I tried to post the ko-fi button, but it didn't work or I'm dumb, so here's a link to my Ko-fi instead

So yeah, that's what I've been up to. What ya'll think? Thanks for reading, hope you guys have a wonderful day.

If you've been watching a bit of the pixel art that I do, you may have noticed that I mention streaming, and also completely forgot to mention when I stream. So Imma tell you that.

Low-Energy Pixel Art Streams are every Thursday at 10:30 PM CST (I sometimes, start earlier)

Now that's out of the way, I can update people on some stuff. So, I've been making a schedule to stream and I'm hoping to begin streaming more often in a week but as I have other art projects (some professional, some experimental, etc.) and I am very self conscious of the separate natures of my art accounts (unless you go to my artstation and see that I don't have much.) I am having a mental/professional struggle on what I want to do with my life, and am limited by the hardware that I am using at the moment.

For reference, I stream on a laptop that has two USBs. (one is for the mouse, the other is for the microphone.)

When I do art with my Huion, I can't even use a mouse because it uses both USBS.

So I'm gonna start saving up some money in order to get an actual computer setup, with two monitors, more than two USB ports, and crap like that so I can actually stream more than just pixel art! (I hope to be able to stream gaming and non pixel art streams, maybe even illustrating stories written by chat or reddit posts because that sounds fun.)

However, due to how hard it is to actually save money when you have student debt. I have decided to start looking at selling prints of my artwork. I have absolutely no idea where to start, but if your interested in prints of any of the artwork that I do. Let me know what kind of art you'd like to see prints of.

Alright, time to go make a pot of coffee. Have a good day!

Hello! If it is the case that you were watching my streams before, and have wondered where they went, do not worry. I have simply stopped streaming for now because my Microphone broke a week ago. (It fried up, it was cheap and old.)

But in good news, I saved up enough money to buy a new microphone and it should be coming on Thursday,

so next pixel art stream will be Thursday, December 17th at 11pm CST if I get the microphone on schedule.

So come join at the scheduled time, we'll have some fun as I have some cool plans for the stream and hope to see you there.

Hello! As you may have noticed, it is a day after Thanksgiving which means it is now *REDACTED* days until Christmas.

Due to a mix of situations. (Bills are a struggle, I got to afford gifts, I need the experience, etc.) I am going to open commissions. As well as selling some other art stuff, though that's not exactly ready to be announced yet.

Commission Status: They are Open

So what kind of commissions will I do?

The short answer is digital pixel sprite commissions. The size will be the same for all. (Original canvas size is 64 x 80 pixels, but I can resize by 400% for whatever purposes. I can also do 64 x 64 for avatar purposes.)

What will the price be?

$15 a commission. Period. No more, no less. You will pay $5 at time of commission and the other $10 when it is finished.

I will have 5 slots open at a time.

I will update these throughout the month of December as slots open and close. Commissions will close December 30th.

What is allowed to be commissioned?

Things I will not draw include:

Intense Amounts of Gore

Fetish Material

An OC that does not have reference art for it already

Things I will draw include:

Fanart Sprites

Abstract Work

OC's (if you provide me with reference art of the OC)

Original Ideas if you give me source references and an Idea (Robot, monster, etc.)

How to get in contact or ask questions?

You can PM me here on Newgrounds, or you can email me at implosivewaffle@gmail.com. Asking questions in comments is also encouraged so I don't have to answer the same questions a bunch of times.

Payment methods will be discussed after contact.

Any other important information?

Yes, after the commission is done, It will be posted here on my Newgrounds unless you explicitly express that you do not want me to do that.

As well, I might work on the commissioned work on my livestream unless you ask beforehand not to do that either.

When you commission me, I will keep in contact with you during the process and make sure everything is hunky-dory.

Updates will be sent in the form of a photo of my laptop, you will not receive the high quality image file until payment is completed.

Also, please keep in mind that these are going to be pixel art. So please remember the restrictions of the medium.

In other news:

I have recently been streaming pixel art on twitch at https://www.twitch.tv/somewhatcloudy where you can watch and support me if you'd like. There isn't a set schedule YET. Some of my recent work has been made there, and most of what I make there will be polished up and submitted here in case you miss the streams. I'm also thinking about creating a Youtube channel where I'll edit and post the stream recordings, I'm not sure yet though.

Other than that, thanks for reading, have a wonderful day!
